Kids Yoga Camp (3rd-5th)

Would you like your child to learn simple relaxation techniques to help calm the body and manage strong feelings? Or practice positive thinking to help gain confidence in their abilities? How about learning physical exercises that increase attention and self control? Or even developing community and experiencing support in a group with opportunities to both lead and follow?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, this camp is for your kiddo!! We will be moving our bodies through yoga poses, outdoor play, and fun social-emotional learning games. We will also be making related crafts, (One of our crafts will even be making gemstone Mala bead necklaces!!!), taking time for a snack and enjoying a short reflective period.

This camp is one week long and meets for three hours each afternoon (1-4 PM). This afternoon class is geared towards 3rd through 5th graders. It is open to 8-11 year olds. Students should wear comfortable clothes and bring a water bottle and a snack. If you have your own mat feel free to bring it! If not, The Yoga Shack has mats you can borrow.

***The Yoga Shack is a donation based studio. When registering your child, please choose the ticket amount that works for your family. You also have the choice to pick a donation amount and then later in the registration process, defer payment until the first day of camp as we accept cash donations at the studio.
